English 1010:
Reflection
In this class I learned many things. These did not only pertain to grammer and how to construct a well written paper, but I was also able to learn how to relate things to other different or similar things. In doing this we learned what similarities and differences they had and how to communicate these findings. We learned a number of different meathods to discover these differences through analysis of ads, rhetorical essays, short essays and political cartoons.
Through creating essays of our own, due to the observations made from our many analysis', we were able to learn what aspects of our paper would grab our target audiences attention. We corrected and improved each of these papers as a class and on our own by the observations made from other papers.
Over all this class was able to meet the college's learning outcome because the more you worked and researched, the more you would learn. Like any other college class it was all dependant on the student as to how much they really get out of the class. The class was taught in a way that gave us enough information to know what we were suppose to do and to encourage us to research and study on our own so that we could meet the materials standards.
